Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Although Polishina is slightly older than the other members of the Shina clan, she was the last to join. As she does with all decisions, she took her time to carefully consider all the ramifications and watched to see how the move to a new clan affected the others. Her tendency to agonize over every decision tends to drive her clanmates crazy, but her thoroughness often results in a better outcome for all.
