Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bluster is the go-to prankster of the group.  He's loud and fearless even in the face of the flock's most irritable or violent members.  He's found that the various forest-breed dragons tend to be particularly jumpy, and so he often is looking for new and exciting ways to startle them.  As such, he has gotten on the bad side of the entire Kite family (as though the Melods and the Kites didn't already have enough of a rivalry).  Lately his mother has been trying to get him to tone down the pranks for fear that the forest-bred dragons are going to outright attack him...that and it also makes her look bad to have a son who is so disobedient.

Bluster laughs so hard after a prank that he often looses his balance, making it easy to catch him.
