Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Like many of her breed, Jotvi is largely a solitary dragon. Though she does not precisely avoid the company of others, she is an introvert and much prefers to listen rather than to speak. However, sometimes she gets the urge for company and seeks out the community where she was hatched. Although her appearances there are infrequent, Jotvi has earned one of the clan's most prestigious titles: Scop, or storyteller. Her specialty is in tales of war—great battles, duels, and the most compelling villains the clan has ever heard of. No one but Jotvi knows where she gets these stories, and she's not telling. Because her appearances are so sporadic, many of the clan members use them as an excuse for a holiday. They circle a massive bonfire late into the night, sometimes many nights in a row, and watch the sparks drift up into the black sky, as Jotvi's gravelly voice weaves a tale of warriors and kings long dead, if they ever existed at all.
