Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rue is a peaceful dragon but she is moody.   She went from egg to Adult with an attitude that caused many to dislike her, so she has had a few problems socially.  She finds that because she is always in a bad mood that most dragons stay away from her.  That is just fine with her because she finds that most dragons are into themselves any way.   Thus, she spends her time flying in the sky as much as she can. She finds that flying improves her mood.  She has started to fly more often risking being seen by humans.  She has started watching humans from the sky to her understand them better, and maybe by watching them she can learn to get along with her dragon family better.
