Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flagello Velox means "fast whip". He has earned this nickname for his great speed and whip-like tail. No dragon had ever out-flown the great Flagello Velox. He is faster than the wind, faster than the lightning, and faster than sound! You can only hope to see him as he whips past you at enormous speeds. He enjoys racing other dragons of his breed, trying to challenge himself more and more every single day.
