Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She was named for her beautiful coloration, and the sonorous song she created when she was in a good mood, which was actually somewhat rare. When she first grew up, this dragon was unruly and prone to bursts of unbridled rage, often attacking rocks or trees in what seemed to be frustration. She nearly swiped her talons through her tamer's shoulder during one of her fits. After a while, though, she seemed to mellow out, as her tamer began to use positive reinforcement as a type of discipline, rather than simply yelling at her for acting out. She is still a little stand-offish and moody, but she's slowly coming around. It's possible that Flambliss remembers how she treated the one who was only trying to care for her, and as a result, she seems to regret it. Perhaps this is the reason she doesn't fully attach to her tamer. Despite her somewhat surly attitude, she is very fond of The Drifter, much to the surprise of her trainer; The Drifter is fun-loving and goofy, while Flambliss is moody.
