Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Maiden Hexagom the Pink is obsessed with shapes. She is often found searching through piles of rocks she has collected for interesting shapes. The rocks she deems worthy go into a small collection of odd-looking rocks. Maiden Hexagom loves her little rocks, and has named them all. Her favorites are Rocky One, Rocky Two, and Rocky Three. Her master made her little baby rocks eyes out of fabric, and stuck them on to each rock, giving them the appearance of being pets. Maiden Hexagom loves her little pet rocks dearly, and she is always thankful that she never has to worry about them running away.
