Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A very reclusive dragon, Shiront dislikes to leave his home, an abandoned mansion with a huge library. Shiront adored reading, but the library's collection began to get boring after a few centuries. He didn't want to leave, but he wanted more books. A passing pygmy dragon who broke into the mansion soon resolved his problem though. The pygmy promised that if Shiront read her new story and proofread it, she would go out and get some more books for him. Ecstatic about the deal, Shiront happily agreed. The pygmy's book was absolutely amazing, he thought, and the books she brought back were just as good. Seeking to make more of these good deals, Shiront put the word out that he would look over any amateur literature in return for more books. However, this soon proved to be a grievous mistake. Fledgling novelists flocked to the mansion, flooding Shiront with terribly written drivel and lemon fanfiction. The Mary Sues! The purple prose! The emo poetry! He can't take it anymore!
