Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Darkenor is a strong warrior, who strongly believes in honor and doing what is right.H e fights for whatever cause he believes is right, and believes that what is inside an individual's heart determines their worth, not what race or class they are.  Relatively young, he has incredible strength for his age, being more skilled that most at using physical and magical attacks. He is a great asset to whatever side he is fighting on in battle.  He is not afraid to kill if it is for a just cause, however, his belief in honor prevents him from killing enemies sometimes, but only when they are truly undeserving of death. He mainly fights at night, due to his good night vision, leading him to work mainly as an assassin. When the situation calls for it, he will also work out in the open as part of the main force in battle. He is close friends with Leonard, his partner in battle. They are so close that they are like brothers. His mate is Rennel Deras, who he met during a war campaign.
