Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Flora Crystal is an odd, shy little Vine dragon that has a love for collecting nature's trinkets. She collects flowers, seeds and, if she is lucky enough, rare minerals and gemstones which she hoards in her underground cave.
Even though her species is famous for being rather violent, Flora is overly
cautious and refrains from using her fiery breath due to the high risk of accidentally setting her home ablaze.
She was taught by her parents as well as the local Canopy dragons about the preciousness of plant-life and has adapted well with the plants around her, rather than clearing the area like her species tend to do.
This behavior has also benefited her greatly with a large food supply where she may feed from the many roots protruding into the ceiling of her den as well as nectar, berries and insects.
Flora lives within the company of Canopy dragons and has a constant fear of other Vine dragons possibly moving in and forcing her out from her home.
