Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

The sun rises, casting rays of warm light onto the trees' canopy. A chirp is heard, but the chirp doesn't sound like any kind of bird. The voice is clear and strong, yet gentle and musical. A different pitched chirp answers the first and soon many other voices join in. A melody is created, the notes creating perfect harmony. All the creatures of the forest awake from their slumber, listening to the song of dawn from a particular breed of dragons. A flock of dragons flies out from the trees. They fly upwards with each other, their voices still ringing; their song is carried by the wind. When they are high enough,  they form a circle in midair. The song ends as a smaller dragon flies to the center. Her skin is a golden bronze color, glistening like the sun. The other dragons go silent, waiting. The young dragon in the center, SongFlower opens her mouth and out comes her song. At first she sings solo, but soon the other dragons join in, adding their own notes to create perfect harmony.
