Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very curious and fond of sweets.

And look! It has grown feathers! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ancient Mew hangs from a tree branch in front of you, his tail wrapped around the limb. Grasped awkwardly in his front paws is a honeycomb. He clutches the prize closely to his pale pink body and his eyes narrow in suspicion as he notices you looking at it. As he swing onto the tree branch, you are able to get a better look at him.

Not that there is anything interesting or different about Ancient to set him apart from other Sweetlings- So far he appears to be curious about things he doesn't know and protective of his foods, he has no scars or defining markings of any sort. He looks as if he would be a friendly dragon, though you aren't sure.

It takes a moment, but you are able to notice something that sets him slightly apart- He's shy. Even now as the two of you watch each other Ancient Mew slowly shies around the tree trunk and onto another branch until eventually all you can see of him is his little pink head poking around the trunk.

Yes, definitely shy.
