It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Lurial Songflower is well known as one of the few gentle dragons around. She dislikes violence, hunting and activities that involve the taking of another's life. Lurial strongly dreads the mating season, as that is when she'll have to finally partake in meat in order to provide enough nutrients for her unborn children.
The small animals that live in the plains where she grew up in know her very well and will not hesitate to climb upon her smooth back whenever she rests. Sometimes, she'll even soar into the azure sky with the animals still clinging onto her, allowing the small creatures to feel the joy of flying that they'll probably never be able to experience on their own. Lurial loves music and will often hum a tune or two as she lies among patches of her favourite lavender flower. When she gets hungry, she'll often flutter to the nearby honey tree and nibble off some of the ripest honey fruits that the tree bears. She does not hesitate to share her food with others either.
