Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yrriclaer is the first bred silver dragon this cave has seen. From a very young age, he fell in love with Cylriade, but the striped female sees him as only a good friend and mated with Oltherfor, another male that grew up at the same time as the two of them, instead. As a result, Yrriclaer seeks vengeance on Oltherfor, though he is not violent in nature. Generally, Yrriclaer is friendly and enjoys the company of older dragons. He is proud of his parentage and badly wants children of his own, though he can think of no other female he would want to mother his children than Cylriade.

Like all silver dragons, he enjoys flying and hunting, and is one of the strongest dragons in this cave. However, because he is young and rash, he will most likely never reach a high status in this cave.
