Geminae Dragons are known to be among the most powerful psychics of dragonkind. This power is used primarily to communicate with other creatures, but also as a defense mechanism. Though large, Geminae are not particularly well-suited for physical combat and thus rely on their psychic abilities to influence the thoughts, intentions, and emotions of anything that seeks to harm them. These dragons have no interest in fighting, either; they spend most of their time solving complex puzzles as a challenge for both heads to achieve together. Though both heads of the Geminae approach problems much differently, they are unparalleled in their desire to collaborate and compromise to reach a solution. When a Geminae puts its heads together, there is almost nothing it cannot do.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

Zerkama is the one with upwards-facing horns and a more outgoing personality, while Veshyre has downwards-curling horns and a more reserved demeanor. However, both agree that the shenanigans the Guild of Mischief get up to are hilarious, and sometimes the two even learn something from them, like the existence of secret passageways. Zerkama and Veshyre usually watch from a distance, using their telepathy to see through other dragons' eyes and minds, but sometimes they see an opportunity to make things even better. In these instances, they'll usually whisper some new idea into the heads of the Guild members while they plot or act. On rare occasions she'll even compel them to do things, which they realize soon after and feel strange about. Amazingly, the Guild members seem to be growing more resistant mind-altering effects, which Veshyre theorizes is due to their strong support of each other and the subsequent strength of will. Zerkama says such things are impossible, surely.
