Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This wise and gentle creature was once the high priest of a reclusive, shamanistic tribe. However, his clansfolk were dull and vicious, believing that divinity could only be achieved through violence, favoring gods of war and sacrifice over a god of peace and mercy. Accordingly, the priest took his leave of them, leaving behind the vicious high priestess along whom he had served and forming a gentle, prosperous tribe in a land of far-off hills. However, while he loves his new people and his kindly Sunsong mate deeply, he is forever troubled by the fate of those he left behind--particularly his young, gentle acolyte, who was too frightened to accompany him on his journey. Accordingly, he plans to return to his old tribe, to see if he can coax them to follow him to a better life, but little does he know that the high priestess he abandoned is waiting for him.
