White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Swirling light is a male white dragon, the son of Terrinha and Branquito. His mate is a black dragon named night-time dreamer, whom he cherishes dearly, and they have a young black child, gender unknown, and have recently had a white egg. Swirling light is a very proud male, and dearly loves his child, and hopes that the egg will hatch. He is very intimidated by Watcher of the waves, a water dragon, but is friends with his mate, Yellow-whipper. His best friend is night-time dreamer, though when they fight, they avoid each other for ages. He is very clever and quizzical, but is stubborn at times, and annoying. He is a loved dragon.
