Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lunecent is often portrayed as a ditsy, floaty sort of dragon. However, she actually holds a lot of precious knowledge other dragons would kill to have. She knows deadly secrets that could have a drastic impact if told to the wrong dragon.

Since Lunecent is over 7000 years old, it would be expected that she'd be so wise, but not very many dragons still know the legends that she was told. One day, the knowledge will outdate itself and be next to useless, and that is what she plans to happen. She just worries there are others who have different ideas.

Lunecent lives in the heart of an ancient glacier and will remain hidden away in the ice until disturbed. The moonlight that shines through the ice is enough to keep her alive throughout her slumber.
