Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts autumn weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Oszere, or "Oz" for short, was named for the Hungarian word for "autumn". This Hatchling couldn't be happier with the season he was born in, because he absolutely loves to play in leaf piles! He can entertain himself for hours just pushing leaves into a pile and jumping in it. He also like the crunchy sound dry leaves make, and can be found happily stomping on any poor fallen leaves with the misfortune to fall in his path.
