Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being rescued by Phantom during a powerful and destructive storm, Ghost of Storms is named after both. After spending her entire childhood raised by none other than Phantom, who was still the clan leader back then, Ghost of Storms became a bodyguard for Phantom and is currently the head of the guard unit created to protect Phantom, who has since stepped down from leadership after numerous traumatic experiences rendered her incapable of running the clan.

As an eyewitness to Phantom's mental breakdown, she felt guilty for not being able to protect her, and despite being reassured by Phantom herself that she is not to blame, she could never get herself to fully accept that. But that sense of guilt, while still existent, is now largely overshadowed by the joy that resulted from Phantom's recovery and happy life with her mate and new clan leader, Master of Mages.
