Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to bask and play in the sunshine.

It’s gotten slightly bigger and its colors have changed! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling loves to observe small desert wildlife, particularly lizards. Her favorite pastime is sitting still in the desert sun while small critters climb up her scales to bask in the sun. Considering them her pets, she even shares her cactus meals to entice them up onto her wing where she can watch them closely.

Leezardisle's current favorite pet is a horned lizard she named "Stubby".
