Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

No one can remember who it was, exactly, who was psychotic enough to lick off some of this poor creature's fluid-retaining ooze, but regardless, the end result is the same: the nutter pronounced the stuff had the consistency and taste of gelatin, and that has been the dragon's name since. Of course, this quite distresses the female, as not only is that not really her name, but she's now worried some other people might attempt to get a taste of her 'gelatin.' On more than one occasion while she's been romping with the local children has one of the little buggers attempted to lick her, prompting her to crossly dunk them in the water until they behave; but despite this unease, she still loves humans very much and is loved by them in return.
