seemed to be missing a finger
our boats collide
woke up at eight
started a fire
we'd feel the breeze
had a few drinks
we all felt inspired
I turned and looked away
we'd stay afloat and
jumped in the stream
our shoes and canteens
make the most of everything
the water was bitter cold
laid in the raft
the stars would shine
to the bus - gravel road
the sun would set
til it started moving
the current just sang
the stars would shine
its song was so soothing
we stopped along the way
and a beautiful day
the trees would shake
on a beach in the sun
on a beautiful day
we'd all feel fine
our boats collide
we'd feel the breeze
