You danced like forest wind
- Your voice was ash against spine
  - And you whispered you were mine
    - I name you home and call it rest
    - Stars were teeth we can't bite
      - I followed what you left behind
      - You were ash I could not scatter
  - The waves refused to wash away
    - You turned-and I forgot to run
      - I was fire you never held
      - The ocean blink and you're gone
    - I held the dusk between my hands
- The sun fell across your eyes
  - A shadow burnt into my chest
    - And thought perhap you're theone
    - You laughed like someone leaving
      - You kiss me like sea kills ships
      - I came back too late to stay
  - We drown before we learn to stay
    - I burn where yourname used to be
      - You walk into smoke without turn
      - And the night said nothing of us
    - The wind broke into silent flame
