Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Fire of Life was the highest ranked of those four dragons who first survived Silver Caves. She had earned this right, as she was the first to hatch of the first four dragons that successfully matured. She is called Queen among the other dragons of Silver Caves, and although the power of a queen was not originally hers when the title befell her, she slowly became the queen others believed she had right to be. The Fire of Life is energetic and has excellent skills in magic, even for a Magi. But for all her talent and luck, she has begun to feel the internal conflict that anyone would feel when they have to much responsibility. Too many lives and hopes and dreams depend on her, and it seems that with every passing day, more is expected of her.
