Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sedi is usually very calm and composed, and outwardly she seems capable of any challenge. Nothing seems to daunt her; she approaches even the most terrifying problem with a cool mind and sound logic.

But the fear she never shows is imprisoned deep within her. And sometimes the lock breaks, and the fear escapes from its cage to fill her body and come out as pure instinct, reducing Sedi to a sniveling wreck. During these moments of pure fear, she looses control of herself and begins screaming and sobbing while spasming on the ground, striking out with her claws at the air around her and occasionally clawing at her own scales.

These episodes, regarded as tantrums by her parents, were most often in response to a difficult school assignment when she was a hatchling. Now, they happen rarely, but are generally caused by events or dragons that she is afraid of and are no less crippling. Sometimes they happen for no reason whatsoever, leaving her miserable for the remainder of the day.
