Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Due to the odd nature of her name, she prefers to go by Demi instead. Demi is a dragon with a very bitter disposition towards all the others, cold and distant towards them. She spends as little time as possible with the clan and they generally prefer it that way. She has a very short temper, quick to war with others. She has an incredibly jealous nature and is obnoxiously competitive. She very much dislikes all of her fellow dragons though sticks around for the sake of convenience. Demi holds a particular grudge against Princess, still bitter that Tyrael chose Princess over herself. She also feels that she should hold the position of power that Princess does, and thus hates her with a passion.
