Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Takeda Yuzen does not remember his creation, but he knows that he is different from other dragons, and that his egg was hatched via magic. He is fascinated by his living, breathing cousins, and spends much of his time writing a book delineating the traits of all the various breeds, and comparing them to his own. He spends a lot of time curled up on the flat rocks that surround the rim of the Bryon Eyrie's mountain lake, or gliding along the air currents above it. He carefully avoids the stormy skies ruled by Matera Tempestas and her moods; lightning and his fragile parchment scales do not mix well.
