Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Hatchlings spend a relatively long period of time as hatchlings, from 100 to 200 years, before they mature. Adolescence is usually marked by a hatchling's wings growing in, but not all breeds of dragons grow wings. Baby dragons all look very similar, but once they hit adolescence, they change very fast, they mature to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Pink dragons, however, are one of the only breeds of only female dragons. They eat only plants, and meat during mating season when it is brought to them by their mate. Their bright colors make them easy to spot during dragon mating season, which occurs once every 10 to 20 years and can last up to 2 years.
Rokuna is a very tempermental dragon who likes to hoard marshmallows and cute little animals together and take after them. Not in the killing way, but it's simply motherhood kicking in. She wants a suitiable dragon mate. But not someone who has much of a rule over her. Because she; in her own words, is the boss of things. With an iron fist, this she-dragon will sooner eat meat then be tamed by a male dragon.
