Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Z'auli was born into a large family, with many brothers and sisters. Though she enjoyed their company, she never felt like one of them. She felt an urge to leave her home, and as she grew, the feeling became a voice, speaking in her mind. "Come to me," the voice whispered. "You are worthy of us. I sense it in your blood. Come to me." As soon as Z'auli was old enough to set out on her own, she began to follow the voice. She traveled for many days, until she reached the forest of the Zeta tribe. There, she was surprised to find a Copper dragon seemingly identical to herself. Z'auli was puzzled. "You seem familiar—and yet, it was not your voice I heard, calling me to this place." The other dragon appeared equally confused. Z'auli soon discovered that the Copper, Z'lora, was her grandmother, a member of the Zeta tribe. The two quickly became close companions, and now care for the tribe's hatchlings together. Z'auli believes she has finally found her true home.
