Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Z'e Moon was brought up in her father's faith of the Brothers of the Blood Moon. As an Ice dragoness she of course can't join his order but she has devoted her life to promoting peace between dragons of all breeds. She tries very hard to stick to peaceful ways herself but she isn't the greatest diplomat and so she often had no other way to end a fight than to literally freeze the combatants with her magic. Well, it only took about half a dozen fatalities or so to earn her enough of a reputation so that most dragons will now listen to her before she has to resort to her ice breath.
