Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Yamagishi spends most of her day watching over the eggs and hatchlings in the cave. She may be small, but she is regarded as the main mother figure in the family and is responsible for keeping the peace between the other dragons. Many mint dragons such as her self are often overlooked and treated badly, and despite having no natural weapons or defenses, many of the larger dragons fear her sharp tongue.
Yamagishi also visits those in the family who do not live in the main cave, such as the water and vine dragons, and keeps them company during long stretches of solitude.
At night Yamagishi gazes up at the moon and hums a lullaby to the hatchlings. It is an old human song that she can remember hearing from back when she was still enclosed in her own egg. A human female who had stolen her abandoned egg sang it to her as she journeyed to the cave Yamagishi now calls home, and now Yamagishi always recalls it when she sees the moon, the first thing she saw when she hatched.
