Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Morutero (her name means "purple and red heart" in ancient draconic) was found, abandoned on the edge of the clan territory.  She often feels like an outcast, as she is not related, in bloodline, to anyone else in the clan.  She will sometimes play with Eromore, another outcast, and her only friend, or talk with Empano, who sometimes visits her at sunset.  Other than that, she talks to no one else in the clan.

     Unlike her mate, Morutero has a very strong position in the war.  She knows the cruelties of being oppressed for being different, whether being wingless or not being clan-blooded.  She is a fierce supporter of the mints, and is determined to prevent dragons who loathe equality to rule.
