Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though Lily Girl arrived in EG's Cave at precisely the same moment as her brother, My Bubbie, she has not formed as much of a close bond with EG. Lily would rather stick to her solitude than snooze with EG in the afternoon sun as her brother does. She is wary of others' company, mostly because of her size. Lily Girl can be assumed to be a runt of a Black Tea. She is almost half the size of the usual breed.

Despite her solitary tendencies, Lily Girl has been known to peek from her shell once in a while to play with EG. The butterflies that flock to her seem to be the only outlet of happiness she has. Therefore, EG has taken that fact into serious consideration and goes out of her way to assure that Lily has fun with her butterflies once in a while.
