Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys running through a nearby pumpkin patch.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ambrose is not really a fro- dragon. Although he might look very amph-, repti-, draconic, he is truly a cursed prince and waits for a human princess to break the terrible spell, so the can have many tad-, hat-, children together.

Ambrose tells every human noble woman he encounters that she need simply kiss him and they can live happily ever after. So far he had seventeen maidens flee in disgust, a five year old and a three year old girl licking him (on different occasions), three women trying to give him to their cook for dinner preparation, and a smart booky princess telling him "that's not how that kind of curse breaks," throwing him against the nearest wall.

Ambrose begins to ask himself if it's really so bad to stay stuck in his Pumpkin Pygmy form.
