Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

IT'S OVER 9000 is a rather overenthusiastic pebble dragon whose favorite thing to say is his name. Whenever anyone uses a number around him (whether it's large, small, or a vague term like "a few"), he bellows "IT'S OVER 9000!" so loudly that the entire cave shakes! For this reason the other dragons are very careful of what they say around O-Nine, usually preferring to conduct their conversations elsewhere for fear that they will slip up and mention a number, prompting O-Nine to interrupt them with a deafening chorus of his name.

Most of the hatchlings are terrified of O-Nine, as they think he is always furious with them, when in reality he is actually quite friendly.
