Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

On July 20th, a large, deadly looking creature known as the Datamonster came to the home of Orrin Dracae with his sights set on the playing hatchlings and eggs guarded by the dragons at the top of the hill. In an instant, the Datamonster lunged forward, only to find himself caught in Orrin's deadly vines. Orrin fought the beast off as best as he could, but the Datamonster managed to dig into the earth and pry Orrin from it. The Datamonster ripped off Orrin's vines so that they could no longer hurt him, and Orrin, injured and in terrible pain, was kidnapped from his home. His clan, grateful that he had spared the young from being killed, went to his rescue along with other dragon families who had lost loved ones to the Datamonster. After a long battle, the Datamonster ran off, abandoning his prisoners, and Orrin Dracae was finally able to return home. His vines have since grown back, but he often recalls the horror of the Datamonster's attack and his time spent as a prisoner.
