Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Arvanant is one of the more social Antarean dragons in existence. She frequents multiple towns across the desert, bringing warnings of misfortune and predictions of good graces. She is particularly fond of the children of these settlements, and will grant them short rides over the dunes on her back while the adults prepare for whatever she foretold. Aravanant is a presumably middle-aged dragon, emitting a comfortable pale orange light from her scales. She is seen as a beacon of good fortune to all those who know of her. Her own daughter, however, does not have such luck.

Arvanant's daughter is hunted for whatever power she is fabled to have thanks to her lineage. While Arvanant loves her daughter dearly, she cannot harm the people she loves just as much. Instead, she asks every human, dragon, and everything in-between that she comes across in her travels to give her daughter peace. Arvanant's image is enough to deter most, but a despicable few still pursue the kind dragon's sole child.
