Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Midnight is the first and only dragon that Dragon-Wolf rider has ever frozen. It often resents the fact that it will never fly or know it's gender any time soon. Then, on the occasions where it thinks things through, it is thankful, knowing that, out of the two dragons that were on the brink of death, it was the one she chose to save. Midnight still acts like a hatchling most of the time though there are the occasions where one can see it's true age in it's words.
