Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

To keep audiences entertained while full-length plays are being set up, Roaring Lion Productions offers a variety of short-form serials. One of the most popular involves the adventures of the heroic Nightshade, his two sidekicks, and a whole rogue's gallery of villains. With over-the-top plots, improbable cliffhangers, and the most incompetent peacekeepers to ever walk Galsreim, the serials are incredibly ridiculous, but that's part of their charm.

Xyik plays the Jester, one of the serial's most iconic villains. With his unsettling laugh and garish white-and-green facepaint, the Jester would have hatchlings cowering behind their parents if he weren't such a ham. As it is, it's hard to take someone seriously who relies on pranks, pratfalls, and absolutely dreadful jokes to carry off his schemes.
