Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skiyl is a large dragon with rather gentle disposition. He spends most of his time in the cave he was born in, entertaining the hatchlings and telling stories to the eggs. Whenever he does take a walk outside, it is usually to find more objects of interest, such as rocks and seeds, to add to his collection. One unique quirk about Skiyl that most other dragons deem weird is that he is perfectly fine not having anything ever happen to him. He can see time pass by him as he grows older and even get bored at some points, but he has never felt the need to find an adventure for himself. Relaxing in the cave and talking to all of the young hatchlings is all that he wants.
