And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Formerly named Cute Mage, Claircognizant gained his new name, a gross exaggeration of his ability to gather information, in recognition of his participation and outstanding performance in countless intelligence gathering missions deep inside enemy territories for the clan, which contributed to the success of the clan's various large-scale operations.

While a member of the Frozen Gang, and by extension the clan leadership, Clair is usually found accompanying the clan's human advisor, who is also a close friend to the clan's human master. Through such unique relationships, Clair enjoys some special privileges courtesy of his human friends, which the clan leadership turns a blind eye to as long as they are covered up.
