Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Forth Time's real name is unknown, because shortly after arriving at the secret cove and meeting a sunset dragon named Caleem Thuwed she dubbed him 'Forth Time's the Charm' and ever since then he doesn't answer to any other title except Forth Time. While he himself doesn't know why, the other clan members have a fair guess. Caleem is such a picky dragon that he was the forth Daydream that had fallen in love with her, but this time, she had also fallen for him, which shocked the others as the only dragon she had ever shown any interest in prior to was a Cave Born Thunder. Now, Forth Time thinks he rules the cave and answers to no one other than Caleem and is constantly giving Sora Thuwed (Caleem's younger brother) a hard time despite the fact that Sora's rank is equal to Caleem's. Forth Time also enjoys torturing Sora's friend Kairi and stalks her whenever she is alone as if he were hunting her, making her feel like prey. Sora's patience with him is growing thin.
