Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Culno, meaning "cloud darkener" in ancient draconic, is part of the trio known as the cloud-makers.  Her job is to control the color of the clouds by controlling how much water is in them.  Without Culno, no rain would ever fall, as the clouds would constantly be white, light, and never storm.  Many dragons misunderstand Culno, and dislike storms, so she is the least liked of the cloud-makers.  However, sometimes Culno will take revenge, and literally rain on their day.

     Culno, like her mate, is anti-mint in the war.  However, she is far more enthusiastic than Cuvaro.  While most of the winged dragons actually like storms, many pro-mint dragons complain about them.  And like all black dragons, even the slightest annoyance will make Culno need to take revenge.
