Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Other dragons are not exempt from their wrath, either, which can make a storm dragon with a sense of entitlement a highly dangerous creature.

Midotoru often participates in games with other dragons, and never finishes second. When he enters a race, Midotoru forces the wind to howl fiercely in the faces of all other contestants. When the objective is to catch fish, he showers lakes with lightning. However, he has yet to be banned from joining in—the last dragon who tried to have that rule implemented is no longer in any state to enforce it.

The situation forced dragons to re-evaluate how winners were traditionally ranked. Nowadays, in contests throughout the land, prizes are awarded to those who finish second, third and fourth; first-place receives nothing, and the title of the position was changed from "gold" to "go away, Midotoru". Midotoru initially opposed this, but has given up protesting for now, and simply reassures his ego that the numbers still speak for themselves.
