Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

MacTusk will attack creatures that get too close to him or his igloo, aside from his relatives, his hounds, and dark green dragons. He especially dislikes humans encroaching on his territory. He wanders around constantly during the day and quietly but threateningly follows things he doesn't like until they leave the vicinity. If they dare go closer, he commands his hounds to attack and makes good of his strong magic by shooting at the targets. Unless anyone wishes for a fight, people know better than to seek this particular avatar out.
