Sandy is the most unusual dragon anyone could ever meet, for the simple reason that she is not a dragon, simply a confused chicken who has lived among dragons all her life. Discovered as an abandoned egg, she was adopted by Gregory and raised among Gray Dragons. As a result she is an excellent flier, and the only chicken who can carry on an intelligent conversation regarding the complicated topic of "weather".
