Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The son of the famed "Magic Mustika," this dragon always seems to have an air of mystery around him. A knowing smile, a strange gleam in his eye, a tendency to vanish for long periods of time without explanation. Most other dragons find him bizarre, his noble heritage not enough to excuse his eccentric behavior, but he doesn't seem to mind their opinions. For where other Luminas pride themselves on physical appearance, his pride lies in his wisdom and his magical prowess, especially as relates to the ancient arts. It was during one bout of research on the latter, namely on the Prophecy of Mirrored Hearts, that he bumped into the exceedingly charming heiress of the Merry house. Instantly smitten, he's since become obsessed with winning her heart... even if he has to unleash the calamitous prophecy of which he read to do so.
