On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prazal's Academy for Inconvenient Talents and Odd Specialities specialises in helping those with strange abilities, and one would think that wOEO0's inconvenient talent to cause things to go wrong simply by existing would qualify her, but every time she has tried to send in an application, well... went wrong. She's tried dozens of times, the first of which she couldn't even get a copy of the appropriate paperwork, and when she finally did, she got non-waterproof paper which melted when a freakishly-large wave washed into her normally-dry cave. She has since gotten some magical waterproof paper, but then her applications get lost in the mail! Inexplicable accidents impact her daily life, too, from getting her nose caught in rock crevasses to paper-cuts to cursed artefacts washing up on her doorstep. Whether she had another name before or not, everyone calls her wOEO0 because she is constantly wailing, "Woe is me!"
