Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rock Moss is one of the two primary fighters in Shield Tail and Dark Drakon's herd, the other being Stormy Torrent. If any human manages to make it onto their island home to capture the herd's hatchings or slay an adult dragon for a trophy, Rock Moss will retaliate with his control over the earth. His attacks range from starting rock slides to creating gaping fissures.
